Organic Lettuce Crisphead Regina Di Ghiacci

Organically grown in the UK, the 100% pesticide-free Regina Di Ghiacci lettuce is a crisp-head summer variety with jagged-edged leaves and a rich dark green colour. You can also pick early for baby leaves.

Special note: Watch out for damage by slugs and snails.

Growing tips: Sow these bee-friendly seeds in modules at temperatures not above 18 degrees C or outside in drills from late March. Thin to 30 cm apart. Keep well watered in hot, dry spells.

Cooking: Essential as part of a green salad and fantastic in sandwiches, wraps and buns. You can also cook lettuce by braising it with peas or as soup.
