Gaura lindheimerii ‘Siskyou Pink’ (Organic)

Oenothera (Gaura) lindheimeri ‘Siskiyou Pink’ blooms with light pink flowers. The dark pink veined flowers resemble butterflies. Gaura lindheimeri ‘Siskiyou Pink’ blooms from July to October.

Oenothera lindheimeri ‘Siskiyou Pink’ prefers a sunny position, but light shade is also well-tolerated. It reaches a height of approximately 60 to 80 cm. The soil should be well-draining. A lovely combination can be created with the ornamental grass Calamagrostis ‘Karl Foerster’ and Echinacea purpurea.

Oenothera lindheimeri ‘Siskiyou Pink’ requires no special care. Propagate in summer by taking cuttings. It’s best to trim the faded stems of Gaura lindheimeri ‘Siskiyou Pink’ only in April.

Oenothera or Gaura ‘Siskiyou Pink’ is a bushy perennial with slender stems bearing lance-shaped leaves and open sprays of dusky pink, 4-petalled flowers 2.5cm wide, opening over a long period from late spring to autumn.
