Why organic seeds?
Organic seeds are seeds where the production process is organic from start to finish. No chemical pesticides are used in growing these seeds. Also, no artificial fertilisers are used during cultivation. Fertilisation in organic seeds is from manure or plant material. Organic products can be recognised by the European organic quality mark or a Soil Association mark for the UK. Organic products have to meet strict requirements. Organic seeds come in many different varieties. There are seeds for growing colourful and edible flowers like Echinacea, Nasturtium, Borage or Viola Tricolour, but also seeds for growing all kinds of herbs like Dill, Fennel, Chamomile or Parsley.
