Sesleria caerulea, or blue moor grass, blooms as early as April-May with small, off-white plumes. This ornamental grass is native to the UK and reaches a height of approximately 30 to 40 cm.
Growing slowly into a dense grassy cover, it can also serve as ground cover.
The leaves exhibit a two-tone colouration: green on the underside and a noticeable blue hue on the upper side.
