Approx. 1600 organic herb seeds per gardener’s packet
Organic Savory (Satureja hortensis) is an annual herb with a sweet, aromatic flavour and pretty lilac-pink flowers. Organically grown in the UK and 100% pesticide-free.
Special note: Plant these bee-friendly seeds next to broad beans to keep away beetles and blackfly — also, a good companion plant with onions.
Growing tips: Sow in succession March-June in a sunny spot. You can pick the first leaves after six weeks.
Cooking: Organic savory combines well with broad beans and peas and is an aid to digestion, particularly useful with beans. Dry and blend with rosemary, thyme, marjoram and oregano to make a Herbes de Provence mix.
