Organic Dahlia Sylvia (Maren)

The creamy butterscotch-amber flowers of Organic Dahlia Sylvia (Maren) are a magnet to bees and butterflies! This classic pompom dahlia is lovely in beds and borders and has an excellent vase life – it’s grown in the field by Dutch growers for the cut flower market. You’ll enjoy a wealth of flowers from July to the first frosts – and the more you pick, the more blooms the plants produce.

Growing tips:
Start dahlias indoors in March or plant directly in a sunny location in May. Lift dahlia tubers in autumn and store them over the winter – in the south, you can leave them in the ground, protected by a mulch of bracken or compost.
