Organic Viola Tricolor seeds spread a carpet of colour all summer long with pretty flowers in violet, cream, and yellow. Our Organic Viola seeds are 100% organically grown, and bees, butterflies and other insects are drawn to their nectar and pollen. The edible flowers have a delicate, perfumed flavour – add to desserts, cakes and salads or crystallise with egg white and sugar to decorate puddings and cakes.

Special note:
As the common name heartsease suggests, Organic Viola Tricolor has long been valued in herbal medicine.

Growing instructions:
Sow Violas under cover from March to May. Plant out in a sunny spot when the weather starts to warm up. Protect from slugs. Flowers from June to September. Pick or deadhead regularly to encourage more flowers.
