Organic Courgette Gold Rush is 100% pesticide-free, it’s a beautiful variety, producing an abundance of golden-yellow fruits with thin skin and an excellent flavour. Pick courgettes (zucchini) when small to encourage more fruits to develop.
Special note:
The leaves of Courgette, Gold Rush are naturally yellowish. Courgettes can be subject to powdery mildew in hot, dry conditions, so keep well-watered.
Growing instructions:
Sow April-May at 20 deg C or in the garden after the last frost. Plant 60 cm apart or grow single plants in large containers.
Cooking:
Slice and steam, fry or bake. Dip freshly-opened flowers in batter and deep fry. Organic Courgette Gold Rush are essential for ratatouille and are an unusual ingredient for delicious cakes.
