There’s nothing so satisfying as planting a kitchen garden and growing your own fruits, salads and vegetables. And when you plant organic seeds, you’re not only growing things that are good for you, but you’re also helping the environment. You might not have much space in a city garden, but as long as your patch receives six hours of sunshine daily, you can harvest plenty of fresh produce.
Even on a balcony, deck or rooftop garden, you can grow vegetables and salads in containers, raised beds or hanging baskets. While the space may be limited, you have the advantage of a warm, sheltered environment ideal for growing tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and lettuce and much more.
Our City Gardener’s Organic Seed Collection contains eight varieties of organic seeds specially selected for growing in smaller spaces. The collection includes courgette, aubergine (out of stock, replaced by Organic Cucamelon), sweet pepper, (hot) cayenne pepper, lettuce, cucumber, tomato and rocket seeds grown without harmful pesticides or chemical fertilizers. The seed collection also contains eight wooden plant labels and a seed and sowing manual.
