The deep crimson blooms of Persicaria Miletti, also known as Crimson Knotweed, are a magnet to bees and other pollinators, while the clumps of dark green leaves are fantastic for ground cover. This non-invasive variety is native to the cliffs and hillsides of Western China and needs a shady spot and plenty of moisture to thrive.
Persicaria blooms from mid-summer to late autumn. It looks lovely planted in a wildflower meadow or a gravel garden and is also the perfect addition to a cottage garden. Like all our bee-friendly perennials, Periscaria Miletti is 100% pesticide-free, so it’s an excellent option for organic gardening.
