St. John’s Wort is an herb that is well-known for its medicinal purposes and is often used for problems with anxiety, pain and skin problems. In your garden St. John’s Wort increases biodiversity thanks to its peculiar leaves and flowers. These flowers also attract bees and butterflies, enabling the garden to be full of life.
The herb is grown organically in the UK and grows from spring to autumn. Prepare the ground by tilling it. Then scatter the organic herb seeds and cover them lightly with soil. Once the seedlings grow at least a foot high, thin them to 45 cm apart. You can harvest the leaves at any time from June.
