Grow your own superfood with organic Edamame Beans, Green Shell. Popular in Japanese cuisine, these soya beans are rich in protein, vitamins, and minerals. Our 100% pesticide-free Edamame beans produce white flowers followed by dark green pods containing around 3 tasty beans.

Growing instructions:
Grow like French beans. Sow 2 seeds per spot directly into the ground in May, 5 centimetres deep and 5 centimetres apart. Thin out the weaker seedlings to 15 centimetres apart. Harvest the whole plants from July. Plant in succession for months of delicious beans.

Cooking:
Griddle or steam the whole pods and season with sea salt. Shell edamame beans at the table – don’t eat the pods.
