Organic Cabbage Spring Wintergreen is packed with valuable vitamins and minerals to boost the immune system, it is a fantastic addition to your vegetable patch. Spring Wintergreen copes well with cold temperatures, and you can harvest this 100% pesticide-free, dark green spring cabbage from January when few vegetables are available to harvest.
Growing instructions:
Sow seeds in shallow drills in July and August. Transplant in September – October when they are about 10 centimetres tall. Young plants may need protection from the caterpillars of Large White butterflies.
Cooking:
Pick whole heads or individual leaves of Spring Wintergreen. Steam or boil briefly until tender or use in stir-fries.
