Organic Beetroot Rhonda F1 is a 100% pesticide-free, late-maturing variety with round, wine-red roots. The high sugar content of this delicious beetroot means that it still tastes sweet even after winter storage.
Growing instructions:
Organic Beetroot Rhonda F1 is quick and easy to grow. Sow successively in drills 30 cm apart from March – July. Thin seedlings to 10 centimetres apart. Harvest when the size of a golf ball.
Cooking:
Wash, peel and grate for salads or use in the classic Borscht. To boil, leave the skin on to prevent staining or wrap in foil and bake in a low oven for 2 – 3 hours.
