Organic Runner Bean White Emergo

Our Organic Runner Beans ‘White Emergo’, is 100% pesticide-free and produces fantastic yields of long, slender pods with a delicate flavour. The white flowers are thought to be less attractive to birds than red varieties. Try companion planting with sweet peas to attract more pollinators.

Growing instructions:
Plant seeds in situ in May or start indoors and then transplant after the last frost. Runner beans need rich soil and a sunny location. Support plants with canes or netting

Cooking:
Top and tail and remove side “strings”, slice, then steam or boil. White Emergo beans are equally delicious freshly picked or when the white beans are mature and dried – and the pretty white flowers are also edible.
