Organic Nigella, Damascena

Create a cloud of gentle colour with Organic Nigella, Damascena seeds. The starry flowers in pastel shades of blue, pink and white are borne on lacy, pale green stems in June. Growing to 60 cm, Nigella is a beautiful addition to mixed beds and borders and a classic “filler “ for summer vases. Like all our organic flower seeds, Nigella Damascena seeds are 100% pesticide-free, so they’re the perfect addition to a bee-friendly garden.

Growing instructions:
Sow under cover in March (or September for early flowers) before transplanting in April. Sow directly into the ground in late spring. Pick regularly to encourage more blooms but leave some of the pretty seedheads to add structure to late summer flower arrangements.
