Organic Marjoram has a sweet and perfumed scent that adds freshness to your garden. You can also use it in the kitchen as a herbal addition to your grilled vegetables and pastries.
From May 30 to end of July, you can sow the 100% pesticide-free sweet Marjoram directly in the garden. However, you may sow the seeds under cover as early as March. Transplant tray-planted seeds onto the growing site or into 8 cm pots when they are about a foot tall. Ensure that the seedlings are spaced a foot apart.
Pick leaves before the flowering season. Cut the stems just before winter and hang them to dry. You should store the leaves in airtight containers to preserve their quality. In addition, cut the flower buds to encourage more leaf production.
