French Climbing Bean Helda (Organic), is one of the tastiest varieties and a favourite with chefs and foodies alike. This 100% pesticide-free bean is naturally resistant to Bean Mosaic Virus and has large, flat, bright-green pods with a delectable flavour. Pick before they get too large.
Growing instructions:
Support French Climbing Bean Helda (Organic) with canes, wigwams, netting or strings. Sow in situ in May, 5 centimetres deep and 20 centimetres apart. Harvest pods from July onwards when they reach 12 centimetres.
Cooking:
Enjoy freshly picked Helda beans at their best cooked simply. Steam until they are just tender, then serve with lemon butter.
