Organic Celeriac Monarch is a delicious vegetable for autumn to early winter, and one that’s packed with vitamins and minerals. Our 100% pesticide-free Organic Celeriac Monarch produces large, cream-coloured, tankard-shaped roots with a mild, nutty, celery-like taste Celeriac is easy to grow and has no problems with pests or diseases.
Growing instructions:
Sow from February to April at around 18 degrees C. Pot up when the true leaves from and grow on before planting out 30 centimetres apart in April/May. Harvest July-October – trim leaves before storing.
Cooking:
Peel and put in water with lemon juice or vinegar to prevent discolouration. Grate celeriac for salads, cut into wedges or chunks, boil for a puree or roast. Also delicious in soups.
