Organic Fritillaria meleagris

Meet one of our more unusual organic flower bulbs. The checkered purple blooms of Fritillaria Meleagris nodding in the breeze bring colour and charm to your spring garden.

Fritillaria Meleagris is happier when grown on heavier soil than on sandy or chalky soils. Plant in pots or at the front of borders combined with organic narcissus and organic daffodils. The “Snakeshead Fritillary” also looks fabulous naturalised in grass as part of a wildflower meadow or orchard.
