Organic Brussels Sprouts Doric F1 are 100% pesticide free and are essential for your Christmas table! Tight, round buttons with an excellent flavour are produced from November to February. This variety is shorter than many, so it’s perfect for exposed gardens.
Special note:
The caterpillars of the Large White Butterfly love Organic Brussels Sprouts Doric F1 sprouts, so protect the young plants with mesh.
Growing instructions:
Sow March – April in shallow drills, then transplant about 1 metre apart in May. Catch crop quick-growing vegetables under the plants during summer.
Cooking:
Boil or steam briefly until just tender. Shred large sprouts or cut a cross at the base to speed up cooking.
