A fantastic “superfood” for the colder months, our 100% pesticide-free Organic Kale, Redbor F1, is a beautiful addition to the vegetable patch or mixed border. The curly purple-red leaves are packed with vitamins and minerals to give your immune system a boost.
Growing instructions:
Sow April-May in shallow drills. Transplant in July 45 centimetres apart in rich soil and water well. Harvest October -February.
Cooking:
Shred Organic Kale, Redbor F1 finely and enjoy raw in a mixed salad, with lemon juice, Parmesan and olive oil dressing. Steam lightly or shallow fry to make delicious Chinese seaweed.
