The white flowers of Organic French Climbing Beans, Limka, are followed by a heavy yield of large, flat, bright-green pods. Limka is quick to mature and is naturally resistant to mosaic virus 1, so this variety is a fantastic option for the organic gardener.
Growing instructions:
Plant indoors in April or outside in May. Add organic matter and provide poles or strings for support. Water well. Harvest beans when small, tasty and tender. Keep picking regularly, and the plants will produce more beans.
Cooking:
Enjoy Limka beans steamed until just tender. Also delicious baked Greek-style with tomatoes and onions, and in Niçoise salad.
