Thyme is in the same family as mint, hyssop and rosemary. It has a strong aromatic flavour that is sweeter than that of rosemary.
Our 100% pesticide-free herbs are a great component in your culinary mix. You can use it in stocks, soups and sauces to enjoy an all-natural treat.
Thyme is organically grown in the UK and grows from March to June. Sow the seeds in trays with good organic compost. When the plant is about 15 cm tall, transplant it into 8 cm pots or the garden. Keep the spacing between clumps of the herb at about 20 to 30 cm. You can harvest both the leaves and young stems to dry.
