Growing instructions:
Buy fresh Organic Parsnip Tender and True seed every year as parsnip seed doesn’t keep. Sow direct in spring when the soil has warmed. Germination can be slow – plant radishes alongside to mark the row.
Cooking:
Remove leaves, peel and remove the core if large. Small, young parsnips can be just be washed. Roast or boil and puree. Delicious in soups, curries and croquettes. You can also use parsnips instead of carrots in cakes.
