Organic Tagetes Seed Mix Orange/Red

Brighten beds, borders and containers with 100% certified Organic Tagetes mix Red and Orange. The red, star-shaped flowers have deeper gold centres and are borne on lacy, lime-green foliage. With deep red and gold flowers borne on lacy, bright-green foliage, Tagetes Orange looks lovely at the edge of a border and in containers. Our Tagetes seeds are fantastic for tempting bees and butterflies to your garden. In addition, their pungent herbal scent deters whitefly, so they’re ideal for growing as companion plants with courgettes, beans and tomatoes. Many organic gardeners grow our 100% pesticide-free Tagetes in greenhouses.

Tagetes may sometimes irritate the skin and is harmful if eaten.

Growing instructions:
Sow Tagetes seeds in trays at 18 degrees c between February and April. Prick out seedlings 5 centimetres apart and harden off gradually before planting out 20 centimetres apart after the last frost. Flowers June-September.
